Review Revlon Colorburst Matte Balm

I’m so big on lippies nowadays I’d say ‘Yes!’ to whoever wishes to send in some lips smack-able products. When I got an email from Revlon asking if I’m interested to talk about Revlon Colorburst latest seasonal shade, I immediately agreed and was really excited looking forward to these Jumbo Crayons for my doodling.

Available in 12 shades, I’ve here with me 2 colours which I weren’t expecting to receive.

Revlon Colorburst Matte Balm
Available in 12 colours: Elusive, Striking, Fiery, Enchanting, Sultry, Standout, Audacious, Fiery, Showy, Striking, Complex, Unapologetic

Unapologetic and Mischievous are shades that I wouldn’t even go into swatching them when I step into drugstores.
Ok Unapologetic, yes, maybe but Mischievous??? I mean who would give this pale orange a chance? Is totally,

Then there was this evening, I got my face all dolled up only short of the lip colour.
You see, I was kinda rush… So I grab a lipstick within my reach without even thinking whether it’ll look good and started applying it on my lips. As I glide the product on my lips I realized how effortless it was to wear that creamy texture on.

When I’m done I’m like ‘Woah~’

I looked totally… Pretty.
You know boasting is not really my forte but being truthful is, so I had make this confession lol.
Was a little aback but impressed nonetheless because is this out of the world shade from Revlon, the shade that I never would’ve believed in if it wasn’t sent to me,
‘Mischievous’, proved me wrong.
I really really love this shade and I’m so glad I was given such a challenging colour to look at but yet able to coincide flawlessly with my skin tone.

I know the above picture is of low quality and grainy, so I’ve compensated some nice shots with a #MOTD and lips swatches for your better reference.

#210 Unapologetic

Despite having to win me over totally with the other shade, I’m still not swooning over Unapologetic. I guess I’m not so much into going cherry pink.
I may be wrong because this is afterall my ‘first impression’ of Unapologetic, I’ll probably get the hang of it once someone start singing praises about this shade.

#235 Mischevious

Like I’ve talked about earlier, this is the colour that takes the cake.
Of all orange shades, this is the clear winner. Though u can’t see here, Revlon Colorburst Matte Balm feels moisturising to the lips and leave a minty feeling after applying.

The Revlon Colorburst Matte Balm feels so velvety on my lips, I’m not even lying. I think is the oh so thirst quenching ingredients like shea butter, mango and coconut butter. To be honest, I rarely apply balm on my lips and is often dry looking but when the Matte Balm goes on, it doesn’t even feels a teeny bit dry on my lips. See my swatches, as real as it looks!

Now, may you excuse me while I go romance with my little new love~

Thanks Revlon for sending them over!
