Today will be a pretty colourful entry.
A while ago I received a bunch of nail polishes and lip stains from Clio, they are helluva vivid you wouldn’t miss it in a heartbeat.
I would rock them silly if not for my pregnant belly.
Clio Neon Nail Styler
Clio’s Nail styler comes in 6 variations: (shown above from left) Lime Beam, Rhythm Red, California Bxxch (Shown below from left) Bring it on, Wicked Peach and Toxic Pink.
Despite being bright neon, the colours glides on like a breeze. Smooth application makes everything easy for nail noobs like me. When it comes to makeup and hairdo, I have no problem grasping the application techniques, however I’m turned into an absolutely idiot when application of nails are involved.
What I love about these nail colours are their glossy finish, you could completely skip the top coat because of how reflective these colours are. Then again I always recommend sealing with top coat, this way the polishes could last a little longer.
Clio Neon Nail Stylers retailing at $8.90 each.
Clio Virgin Kiss Lipnicure
As if stopping the traffic with Neon Nail Styler wasn’t enough, Clio has to come up with eye catching lip stains that might cause a complete wreck in accidents.
To be honest even though the colours are nice to look in bottles, it actually are one of the hardest lip stains to apply. You can only apply a pathetically thin coat for the colour to stay. Once you start putting on a 2nd layer, it becomes a complete mess destruction.
It takes tremendous effort to get Wicked Peach stain (above) on my lips as compared to Toxic Pink, I guess different shades give a different outcome. Toxic pink, if cautiously applied could be a tremendous attractive shade that shines through the night in parties.
Using the UV laser pointer provided in my presskit, you could actually capture a glimpsed of florescent glow beaming through.
Woot! talking about stealing the limelight, literally.
Clio Virgin Kiss Lipnicure retailing at $19.90 each.
