BioréOil-Control Micellar Cleansing Water

I’ve always love Biore products, from Cleansing cotton sheets to facial foam, you name it I’ve tried it.
Their constant improvisation of makeup remover is what draws me to their products, especially the travel pack facial wipes, probably one of my top favourite among all products. Not only is convenient to bring around, it also acts as a refresher and a makeup cleanser whenever I’m out for a long day of errand.

Introducing the new Bioré Oil- Control Micellar Cleansing Water; a specially developed Oil Control formula that helps remove excess sebum without stripping skin of its natural oils.

You do know when our skin is dehydrated, in order to compensate for the loss it actually secretes more oil than ever right? Some makeup removers tend strip off our natural oil glands leaving our skin oilier than ever.
With the ability to control oil on skin yet able to retain moisture, Bioré Oil-Contro Micellar cleansing water’s gentle and soothing formula leaves skin feeling more refreshed for longer periods of time.

WATERY MICELLAR TECHNOLOGY
The Watery Micellar Technology is known for its high cleansing ability, effectively dissolving and lifting away all traces of makeup including waterproof eyeliner and mascara. The tiny micelle particles draw all makeup, sebum and impurities from the skin, giving it a deep cleanse and effectively lifting away all makeup and dirt deep within pores, leaving skin feel clean and refreshed with no sticky after feel.

Similar to the consistency of tepid water, place your cotton pad close to the nozzle so when you pump the product out it won’t cause any unnecessarily spills or wastage.

Here’s a swatch of Miss Hana Magnetic Eyes (read my review here) which is pretty waterproof and tough to remove. dsc05562

In a few gentle swipes, the Bioré Oil-Control Micellar Cleansing Water dissolves and lifts off more makeup, including waterproof mascara and eyeliner effectively. Prior to that, make sure to soak the cotton pad on the makeup for a short period of time to gain emulsion and easy removal.

I barely use any force, it was few swift swipes and really gentle yet the lifting of makeup is so powerful.
*ps I’ve tried it on my stubborn lip stains and the removal with Bioré Oil Control Micellar Cleansing Water is effortless!

My skin feels neither dry not dehydrated after using it but there is a slight sting when I applied it on my eyes, well not complaining because the ‘stab’ only lasted for a split second but is all good after that.
I also love that fact that Bioré Oil Control Micellar Cleansing Water is the one and only step to cleansing, you do not need to rinse your face off after usage.
Which means this is also a good cleansing base to be used on my clients when I’m out for makeup assignments, just a few gentle sweep and I’m able to remove debris on their face for a clean canvas to start with.

I think I should start with a rating chart for the products I reviewed so here goes:

Does the product works? 4/5
Gentle to skin? 4/5
Worth the price? 4/5

Verdict:
Bioré Oil Control Micellar Cleansing Water
is definitely worth the money, is easy to remove any stubborn makeup without leaving the skin torn and tattered. The texture is so similar to water you don’t even need a thorough face wash after that because there is no sticky feeling to it.  Aside from the slight tingling sensation around my eyes, I’m totally sold by this product!
